Item Description:
Silver Plate Soup Tureen and Cover with Matching Stand by Christofle, Paris. The tureen raised on four scrolled feet, the body with fluting and a Vitruvian scroll frieze. The sides have applied crowned coats of arms and the ends are finished with acanthus-capped handles. Fully modeled pomegranate finial serves as the handle, fitted with two handled liner, all on matching Stand. Christofle makers marks to the base of tureen, stand and liner, circa 1890.
