    Redware Ceramic Brown Boxer Dog Miniature Statue Earthenware Japan Primitive.
    This vintage dog statue is unmarked but I have found other similar ones stamped Japan on the bottom, this one is NOT marked. This fabulous primitive boxer figurine has a glossy brown glaze with white eyes and red hand-painted mouth, ears, and nose. I have included a close up of the ear, which appears chipped but is not, this is original to the piece and glazed that way.
