You are bidding on what I believed to be an
Old Stock Vintage Specimen of
Fossil Coral.
I have since been informed by a fellow ebayer that this piece is
actually

rbicular rhyolite which probably originated in Mexico
.

It weighs approximately 12+ oz.
It was part of an estate of a long time collector with
most pieces in the collection dating back to the early 1970's.
