Made in Japan Porcelain Boxer Dog Figurine

Description

A porcelain boxer dog figurine. Fawn/brown with cream underside, black muzzle, ears, eyes, tip of tail, and toes. Standing, probably waiting to go for a walk. Very expressive face and fine attention to details, such as muscles. "JAPAN" paper label on bottom. Paper labels came into use about 1952. The boxer measures approx. 4.25" long x 2" wide at widest x 3.25" tall. Circa 1970s. No cracks or chips. There is a small manufacturer's defect on the back of the neck (see photos). So cute.
I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
