    Description

Top prime display piece of fossil coral geode from Georgia. Agatized coral botryoidal formations composed of thick translucent amber agate with areas that fluoresce under UV black light. Outside shows the structure of the ancient coral. This is a rare, unique top shelf show stopper. You will not be disappointed.
An excellent addition to a fossil, rock, or mineral collection.  Photos taken dry.
    Approx measurements are 4.5" x 8" x 4" and weight is 2 lbs 14 oz.
Georgia fossil coral is approx. 25-45 million years old, is around 7 on the Moh's scale, and is highly prized for jewelry and lapidary work.
I'm out there collecting and cutting these great rocks myself and writing about it at zookeeperfossils on Blogger.  eBay sales help support my rockhounding habit.
COMBINED SHIPPING IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE and I will refund excess postage when applicable.
    Thank you!
