Absolute prime 2 piece fossil coral geode from Georgia. Large interior filled with botryoidal formations composed of thick translucent amber agate coated in soft washes of matte common opal. Outside shows the structure of the ancient coral. You won't be disappointed!  Ready for the display case. Photos taken dry.  Excellent addition to a rock, mineral, or fossil collection.
Approximate overall measurements are 5" x 4" x 3" and weight is almost 2 lbs.
Georgia fossil coral is approx. 25-45 million years old, is around 7 on the Moh's scale, and is highly prized for jewelry and lapidary work.
