    Description

This 19th century soup/gravy tureen was common table ware during that time period.
The white stoneware features a intricate blue transferware pattern depicting a river, boat scene with people and castle in the background.
This is a small size tureen which can be used for soup or gravy.
Tureen measures 3-3/4" tall with a rectangular shape of 7-1/2" long by 5 " wide.To the top of lid it is 5-1/2" tall.
Ladel measures 6" long with 2-1/2" round scoop.
The seperate tureen plate is 7-1/8" long by 5" wide, in a rectangular shape.
We have noted one chip along tureen lip edge, highlighted in last pic.
Rarely found with the original tureen plate and ladel, makes this a nice addition to your "Downton Abbey" dining table.
