This remarkable car has FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, and only 7 movings parts to the engine. The powerplant of the DKW has no VALVES, TAPPETS, or CAMSHAFT in the amazingly simple engine; the pistons connecting rods and crankshaft — the only moving parts — rotate on roller bearings.
The 2-stroke system obtains high power which also results in 30 miles per gallon.
